DP leader Sali Berisha, during his speech at the podium, called on Albanians to join the May 8 protest against Rama's regime and his government.

"We are in the last kilometer. Again, the road is difficult, but absolutely, Edi Rama is hopeless. He is hopeless! And we will make this kilometer. We will make it, for our sacrifice! We will make it, for our children and their future! We will make it, for the dignity of Albanians, for the future of Albania!

May 8 is our day! On May 8, in the streets and squares of Tirana, we will tell Albanians that we are the masters of Albania, and not the gang in power! On May 8, we will tell the world, Europe and the world, that values, rights, have an invincible advocate, we are. That we are determined, until their return, to continue our battle.

And that Edi Rama is a fierce enemy of Albanians. He is a fierce enemy of the rights, freedoms, well-being, and security of this country. He is one of the most dangerous evils, with which we will part safely and as soon as possible.
