The Democratic Party held its Parliamentary Group meeting today.

The leader of the Democratic Party of Albania, Sali Berisha, gave his opening speech, where he focused on the May 8 protest, a day he described as an extremely important event for the opposition.

Addressing the Democrats, Berisha called on them to dedicate every moment to preparing for the May 8 protest, which he called an act of rebellion.

The Kredemokrat party said that the majority is trying to sow terror in its final throes.

 

" We are on the eve of May 8, an extremely important event for the Albanian opposition and Albanians. Therefore, once again in the most determined way, I call on you to dedicate every minute, every hour to the preparation of this act of peaceful uprising of May 8, as the most important message that we convey to Albanians in the conditions when they are trying by all means to discourage them. They are trying by all means to sow terror in the last throes.

"To prove that we will never accept Edi Rama, his government as legitimate, it has no legitimacy because of the elections he has hijacked, because of the thefts he has been caught with. And, to prove that we are the voice of the conscience of Albanians and we are the main integrating force, the main force that works for the future of this country ," said Berisha.
