"Clark/USA, in defense of Thaçi and the co-liberators of Kosovo"!

2025-11-04 14:19:00, Opinione Piro Ahmetaj

"Clark/USA, in defense of Thaçi and the co-liberators of

I have followed and presented the achievements, efforts and challenges for the Euro-Atlantic future of Kosovo after its liberation from the Serbian occupiers at the highest security forums, such as conferences, panels and hundreds of publications in the capitals of the Balkans (including Belgrade), in Washington, Brussels, the German Marshall Center, the NATO College, and in 32 capitals of the Alliance member states.
I have also modestly contributed to the preparation of the framework and the establishment of state institutions based on democratic balances of powers (such as the Security Council), while having the privilege of sharing assessments, reservations and strategic advice with former President Thaçi and other leaders of Kosovo after its liberation from Miloševi?'s criminal machinery.
Unable to give you a dedicated answer to television studios, newspapers, etc., below you will find geopolitical considerations on the Tirana protest (October 17, 2025), as well as the confirmation of the well-known General Westly Clark to testify at the Hague Court not only in defense of: "His comrade-in-arms, President Hashim Thaçi, but also the just war of the KLA/USA/NATO for the liberation of Kosovo":
First of all, what these two events have in common (the Tirana protest and the testimony of the American General) is the goal of releasing the leaders of Kosovo, namely Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi, Rexhep Selimi, who are cynically accused by liberators of: "war crimes and crimes against humanity before and during the 1998-1999 war"!
But even though two events with a single purpose, I find them completely different, for the quality of the organization, the image, the national and international messages they demonstrate, but above all for the weight they carry for the release of the KLA leaders as well as the actualization of modern Kosovo.
Specifically, the testimony (until November 21), of General Westly Clark, in his capacity as the former Supreme Commander of NATO in The Hague, carries a critical importance not only for the release of Former President Thaçi, but also for honoring the war and the comrades (Americans/KLA) of the liberation of Kosovo from the Serbian invaders. And since we are on the General *, for anyone interested I would suggest his book “Time to Lead”, find a brilliant summary on the dynamics of the confrontation (eye to eye) until the kneeling of Milosevic (the Butcher of the Balkans).
It should also be considered that, in addition to General Clark (with authorization from the US Government), not coincidentally, former Assistant Secretary of State James Rubin, legal advisor to the Kosovo delegation in Rambouillet, Paul Williams, etc., have testified in defense of President Thaçi, simultaneously confirming the US position that: "the fight for freedom/liberation of Kosovo was in no way a crime."
Having said this, I would like to emphasize that the US, not coincidentally, has not signed the agreement nor does it recognize the decisions of the Hague Tribunal. Moreover, in this specific case: “by equating the bloody occupiers with freedom fighters”, this Tribunal has completely and treacherously (established with the approval of Thaçi ...) departed from the jurisdictional tracks and is creating a shameful/dangerous precedent in post-war history.
On the other hand, I cannot help but express my regret for the outdated model, the forced scenario, the misuse for party interests and for the level (to the point of charlatanism) of the protagonists in the Tirana protest (dt. 17). I hope I am wrong, but this folkloric protest did not serve either the release of President Thaçi, or his comrades, or the sensitization and promotion of the national image and dignity.
On the contrary, I recall the noble approach to the KLA of the Sanctified President Ibrahim Rugova, even though he won by a plebiscite against everyone (including staunch patriots who still consider him a traitor); the self-surrender in The Hague of Prime Minister Hardinaj, to show the whole world that we are not a tribe/traitor in these lands, but among the oldest and noblest nations of Europe, as well as the honor for the dignified confrontation of President Thaçi before the "blind and deaf court" of The Hague, defending not only himself and his comrades (KLA/USA/NATO) but also the fight for freedom and independence of Kosovo.
Secondly, by repeating the deep humility for the blood shed, as well as the respect for the sublime sacrifices of the Albanians of Kosovo over the centuries, we cannot help but express national gratitude for the “true liberators” [US/NATO/UK] as well as for the critical weight they continue to hold for the peace and democratic stability of the Western Balkans.
Thus, for the Enverists of sovereign self-defense, a very simple question arises: “If the US/Trump confirm the withdrawal of military troops from Kosovo (which will certainly happen one day) = who is the option-2 of the Prime Minister in office to protect the territorial status quo of Kosovo and the geopolitical interests of the Nation”!? A question that without the “permission of the self-determiners” requires an answer even from Official Tirana. Meanwhile, the fact that immediately after the "freezing of the strategic dialogue with the Kurti Government", Kosovo's membership in NATO has been confirmed among Washington's priorities, speaks more strongly than Russian disinformation, about the support of the US/President Trump-2 for Kosovo and its alignment with national interests.
As for the horror that has gripped His/her end/Mr. Vu?i? from “Greater Albania”, some very simple questions still remain unanswered: “while Serbia is not threatened by any country in the region (certainly not by the Republic of Albania/Kosovo), why does it spend more than €3 billion per year (including around €1.64 billion with Israel and €2 billion with China), to arm itself “to the teeth”, with 18-Mig/29, 12-Rafale, Mi-35, missiles, drones” (?) mainly from Russia; and why does it keep 3/4 of its military power on the state borders of Kosovo!?
However, not only for the neo-Milosevics in Belgrade and the Putinists in Moscow, I repeat it more strongly: “as long as there is a US/NATO presence on the ground, military aggression against Kosovo’s sovereignty, apart from being a suicidal adventure by Serbia, remains a completely impossible mission”. In other words, the recycling of Milosevic's nightmares 26 years after the humiliating defeat with NATO, may feed the agenda of radicals in Belgrade, the interests of the Kremlin and organized crime, or even the crows around Lake Ujman, but in no way scare the Albanian nation nor the proven power (in 1999) of the trans-Atlantic Alliance (USA/NATO/UK/EU)!
In addition/continuation, find respectively: "four geo-strategic recommendations":
1) The protection of sovereignty, the status quo in Kosovo as well as the development of geopolitical interests (nationwide) in the Region, Albania and Kosovo, will be able to realize only by further strengthening strategic cooperation with the United States of America, NATO and the EU. (there is no option-2).
2) Official Pristina should never take decisions that undermine the foundations of trust from/with the “liberators/USA, who still hold critical weight for the peace, security and Euro-Atlantic future of Kosovo”.
3) Emergency No. 1 remains the establishment of a “Wise Group”, with widely accepted personalities/elites, who, beyond party bargaining, bow to national interests and state responsibilities to implement the Platform: “2-Sovereign States 1-One Nation”, which does not threaten (nor Serbia), but contributes as a rational balance for peaceful coexistence and the Euro-Atlantic integration of the region.
4) Actors and strategists/colleagues in Washington, I would suggest that the perspective of strategic dialogue with Kosovo be pre-conditioned NOT by the "Bolshevik delusions of the rulers who come and go", but on a Matrix of Mutual Trust Measures, all monitored by the USA/NATO/EU.
