Carlo Bollino, the man who files a lawsuit and doesn't go to court

At the Tirana Criminal Court, the day before, at around 1:00 PM, the tenth hearing of Carlo Bollino's lawsuit against Democratic MP Belind Këlliçi and member of the DP National Council, Jamarbër Malltezi, was to take place.

On the same day, 30 minutes later, the trial of citizen Carlo Bollino against CNA Media would take place in the same Criminal Court.

But what happens?

Carlo Bollino's lawyer, who surprisingly is also Erion Veliaj's, did not appear at any of the court hearings at the Tirana Criminal Court.

The justification in all three cases, confirmed by CNA, was that a close family member of Bollino's lawyer, Aran Roshi, had passed away.

As lawyer Adriana Kalaja and lawyer Brikena Kasmi emphasized, such cases are vulnerable and everyone is justified.

But what happens to Carlo Bollino and Erion Veliaj's lawyer, Aranit Roshi?

According to official data that CNA was able to obtain, lawyer Aranit Roshi, of the law firm of Fatmir Braka, who heads the Tirana Bar Association and whose head is the famous Maks Haxhia, was present at the Civil Court of Tirana at around 3:15 PM on the same day as the trials with Belind Këlliçi, Jamarbër Malltezi and CNA Media for another case.

So, the same lawyer who has a close family member pass away and does not appear at 1:00 PM, 1:30 PM or 2:00 PM in the trials against CNA Media, Belind Këlliç, Jamarbër Malltez or others, the lawsuits filed by Bollino, Erion Veliaj and others, goes an hour later to the Civil Court of Tirana.

The evidence is there: in camera, in the trial session that took place in the Civil Court. And the document is there, in the Criminal Court, where it was taken to several different sessions by the same lawyer, Bollino's and Erion Veliaj's, Aranit Roshi.

Carlo Bollino and Erion Veliaj's lawyer, Aranit Roshi, must come out to publicly clarify the case, as he either deceived justice and the court, or there was a fatal case that continued until 2:00 PM and at 3:00 PM he went to the Civil Court session.

When a relative dies, there is no going to court, but the deceased is respected.

But Bollino's lawyer, Aranit Roshi, respected the family case until noon, while in the afternoon he chose to go to trial in the Civil Court for another matter and not in the Criminal Court where the hearings for the other lawsuits were taking place.

Today, at around 1:00 PM, the tenth hearing of the lawsuit filed in the Criminal Court by citizen Carlo Bollino, the publisher and owner of "Shqiptarja.com" and "Report TV", will be held at the Tirana Criminal Court.

Bollino has sued Democratic MP Belind Këlliçi and National Council member Jamarbër Malltez.

According to what was said publicly, after both Kelliçi, Jamarbër Malltezi, and their lawyer Adriana Kalaja appeared before the court, lawyer Aranit Roshi, of the law firm of the head of the Tirana Bar Association, Fatmir Braka, did not appear in court.

30 minutes later, in the same court, next to the Tirana Criminal Court, the trial of citizen Carlo Bollino against CNA Media was taking place. The same situation: lawyer Aranit Roshi did not appear.

The justification in both cases, confirmed by CNA, was that a close family member of the lawyer had died.

So, a case of death. And as lawyer Adriana Kalaja emphasized before the court, in such cases, before they are in court or are politicians, such cases are vulnerable, serious and everyone is justified.

The accused's lawyer, Brikena Kasmi, emphasized that we are facing a painful case as it is noted that a close family member has passed away and we agree that the case be postponed.

But what happens to Aranit Roshi?

Aranit Roshi is the lawyer for Carlo Bollino and Erion Veliaj, who has postponed, according to official court data, at least seven hearings in the case against Malltezi and Këlliç, and this is the third or fourth hearing to be postponed against CNA Media.

So, dozens of postponed court hearings.

According to official records, Aranit Roshi is also Erion Veliaj's lawyer in the lawsuits filed against CNA Media. Surprisingly, the same person for both Carlo and Erion. Surprisingly, the same person who also postponed the hearings. He is from the law firm of Fatmir Braka who heads the Tirana Bar Association and the head of the Tirana Bar Association is the famous Maks Haxhia.

These are the lawyers who go to file lawsuits, go to court and don't show up. The problem isn't that they didn't go or that they brought an excuse that a close family member has died.

CNA was able to obtain official data that today, at 3:30 PM, this same lawyer Aranit Roshi was present at the Civil Court of Tirana for another case.

So, the same lawyer who has a close family member die and does not appear at 1:00 PM, 1:30 PM or 2:00 PM in the trials against CNA Media, Belind Këlliçi, Jamarbër Malltez or others, the lawsuits filed by Bollino, Erion Veliaj and others, goes an hour later to the Civil Court of Tirana.

Maybe the funeral was in the morning, maybe the lawyer didn't eat lunch, maybe his civil trial is more important than the criminal one in the reports he filed himself. We don't know that.

But we can say that the lawyer was not present in the Criminal Court and CNA will conduct a full, detailed verification to reveal the truth about Aran Roshi: did he deceive the court or not?

Who is the closest relative who has died? I have a feeling that if it's true, that you don't go to court at 1:00 PM or 2:00 PM and go at 3:00 PM, an hour later, something is wrong.

In principle, the court and other parties to the trial immediately acknowledge that a relative has died and offer condolences.

Beyond a criminal or civil trial, we are dealing with people, with family members.

But how is it possible that the same lawyer, who had a close family member die at 1:00 PM or 2:00 PM, goes to court at 3:00 PM?

Aranit Roshi must tell the truth to the end. What has he done to avoid the Carlo Bollino trials and go to the civil courts?

Because the Criminal Court has different procedures. It goes to the Civil Court, it doesn't go to the Criminal Court.

Sessions are postponed indefinitely.

What is wrong with Carlo Bollino's lawyer who has filed such lawsuits? Are they frivolous lawsuits? Are they frivolous? What are those lawsuits? Who do they want to silence? The truth? To stop officials and citizens from denouncing Carlo Bollino? For what are they stopping them?

Carlo Bollino thinks he will stop the media by filing lawsuits and using lawyers like Aranit Roshi, who does not go to the Criminal Court and after an hour appears in the Civil Court, after telling the first one that a relative of his has died.

Why is Carlo Bollino hiding?

Why did the lawyer who filed the lawsuits flee? What worries them that they are on the run? Why don't they appear in court to face charges?

Maybe someone thinks that people and the media will be silent because lawsuits are filed in court.

The truth delays but does not forget.

No one will remain silent, not only about the truths of Carlo Bollino, but also about these lawyers who say in one court that a relative has died and then go to another and appear.

And the evidence is there: in camera, in the trial session that took place in the Civil Court. And the document is there, in the Criminal Court, where it was presented in two different sessions by the same lawyer, Bollino's and Erion Veliaj's.

The latter are always closely related to each other. Now they are not only connected by the facts and evidence that CNA or many opposition voices have denounced, but also by the lawyer who must tell the truth about the "death" of his relative./ CNA

The law firm paid by Veliaj and his brother, Arbër Veliaj, "Kasowitz", who defend or lobby with 220 thousand dollars, the mayor of Tirana, filling reports with fraud that go all the way to the US Department of Justice, have today come out with another concern.

Let's just go ahead and justify the bags of dollars.

The studio, which has also made reports against justice in Albania, against prosecutors and judges, says that the discovered materials raise deep questions about the foundation of the entire criminal prosecution of the mayor of Tirana, since, according to them, the report was not made only by Nesti Angoni, but also by another informant, Nesta Pëllumbi, calling them anonymous.

"Materials obtained following a court order suggest that the investigation was initiated on the basis of anonymous unverifiable claims attributed to non-existent individuals," the paid studio "Kasowitz" said, among other things, in its response.

It would be good if this big-name studio were serious and read the decisions of Albanian courts up to the highest level.

Between the lines of the leaked decision, one would understand that the court found it right; it doesn't matter who files the complaint, but the criminal evidence regarding the suspected or accused individual, such as Erion Veliaj.

But beyond all that, Veliaj continues with his scenarios from Durrës prison to postpone court hearings as well as the media campaign or attacks on justice, using his media outlets that have also been exposed in wiretaps as receiving orders and being directed to carry out harsh attacks on the prosecutors and judges in the case.

The public must understand the essence, it doesn't matter who filed the complaint, Nesti Angoni or as the media that serves Veliaj or the lobbying law firm, Nasta Pëllumbi, say, the essence is the 13 charges that weigh heavily on Veliaj.

Will anyone speak out about these accusations? Will they face the evidence?

Accused 9 times for corruption, abuse of office, laundering the proceeds of crime, concealing assets, bringing prohibited items into the cell.

CNA has broken down the scheme and made it public, noting that Erion Veliaj's case was solved through Adela Kondakçiu's phone, whose phone had been taken for another matter, and not only that, but many other pieces of evidence also emerged.

We reiterate that what Veliaj should do, if he is a man, would be to go to court, as it has been almost 9 months since the file was sent to court and he continues to drag out the processes and not face justice, the facts and evidence that speak volumes against him.

Today, MP Belind Këlliçi and member of the DP National Council, Jamarbër Malltezi, appeared before the Tirana Criminal Court, denouncing for the umpteenth time the fact that Carlo Bollino is not appearing in Court. This is neither the first nor the last case.

Carlo Bollino had his next hearing with CNA MEDIA today in his report to the Criminal Court and again failed to appear.

This is the latest lawsuit we received from Carlo Bollino, and CNA stands by its writings and denunciations, emphasizing that he is a client of the Rilindja government.

Reiterating once again that he is a direct and indirect beneficiary of government funds, that he is a close associate of Erion Veliaj, not only for what is said in the wiretaps or the broadcasts that were prepared for the arrested mayor of Tirana, but also for his "tête-à-tête" meetings or for other services.

Carlo Bollino did not appear in court again today.

The judges continue to postpone the case, to set the next date, as if Bollino has not been able to appear for months, either to testify as a prosecutor or later to defend himself by saying the opposite of the evidence that we have published or that others have published.

How will Carlo Bollino clarify the relationship with Igli Gjelishti through the scheme with AKSHI?

How will Carlo Bollino justify the benefit of a public property for which the Albanian state, the Albanian government, had an open tender and the value would be around 70-80 thousand euros in annual payment that the Albanians would receive, but was given for one euro to Carlo Bollino?

How will he justify the other agreements with the government, the Bunkartet, his wealth multiplied with the coming of the socialists to power? Carlo Bollino should come to court to do this, but he doesn't. He files a lawsuit and doesn't show up.

Not only towards CNA, but also other people. Carlo Bollino seems to have no idea what he's doing, for anyone who criticizes him and brings up a fact, he has a response "Saliu did it to me" and goes to court.

We are telling him once again that we love Saliu as much as we love Carlo, and even more so Edi Rama, but we are also worried about Erion Veliaj and Belinda Balluku. Whoever Carlo loves, at least he should become a man and come to court to prove his claims, nothing more.

If CNA has insulted him, the court decides, not Carlo, that he doesn't like what we say and with the mentality not of a journalist, but of an authoritarian in power who seeks to prevent others from telling the truths that are not done to harm Carlo Bollino.

But the truths have only one purpose, to teach Albanians to understand how this Italian, Carlo Bollino, was able to increase his wealth with the socialists in power and deny that he is one of their media mercenaries, just as he denies the building for "Report TV", just as he denies the benefit of hundreds of millions of lek through Igli Gjelishti, just as he denies the Bunkart contracts, not to mention the other things that we will demand from Carlo Bollino in court from A to Mr, all that Carlo claims for us, the sources of financing, sponsors, balance sheets, income, profits during the time of the socialists' power, that during the time of the DP we are crying and mourning for him because he was a great oppositionist and now he is simply and only a servile of the government for the unstoppable benefits that come to him.

Carlo Bollino knows this, and that's why he doesn't appear in court, and shamefully the judges keep him waiting by postponing the hearings, when in fact they should have forced the accuser to appear or imposed a hefty fine on him so that he doesn't mock the judges with a ridiculous lawsuit seeking to protect his image, which is perhaps "worth less than Musa Ulqin's old washing machine", a phrase coined by the late former Prime Minister Fatos Nano./ CNA

On the other hand, lawyer Adriana Kalaja stated that Bollino should have been there to face trial.

"The case against Mr. Këlliçi and Mr. Malltezi, accused by the owner of the media who has been put at the service of the government, by the thief already proven, with facts and evidence, for a reason that we accepted from a humane point of view, but from a legal point of view it was unsupported by evidence, since the lawyer of the Leçian Bollino referred to the Criminal Court that there was a case, a family misfortune and for which in fact we accepted, but on the other hand it was easily proven before the court, the absence of the Leçian Bollino, for which in all parallel cases, he should have been there and should have proven with evidence the absence of his lawyer.
