Yesterday, CNA published a scandal, some footage showing the car of socialist MP Ardit Bido, charging in the courtyard of the State Archives institution, which was run by Bido since 2016 until the latter was elected MP in the May 11 elections.
CNA contacted him about this case, but the MP gave us several versions.
The first one, which was in Strasbourg, then he told us he had no knowledge, then he told us it had been done before, etc.
"Yes, that's my car, but I didn't use it, but a colleague of mine did while I was out these days, in Strasbourg. The fact that it was there, I'm just now finding out."
"So, this photo was taken on the day I made the deliveries to the institution and picked up my personal belongings that I had in the office. The person accompanying me put the car on charge during this moment without thinking long that something like that was not supposed to happen."
These are the two versions made by Bido.
In fact, this photo was not taken when he was in Strasbourg nor when he resigned, because he resigned 6 months ago when he ran for MP, while the photos were taken a few days ago in September.
Perhaps in Albania, these "little shames", that is, when a member of parliament goes to the institution where he was the director, (because perhaps he sees himself as the owner who goes and charges the car), the problem is not the 5-10 thousand lek to charge the car, but the problem is the behavior.

If it had happened in any other European country, at a minimum, the director of the institution in office and the MP himself would have resigned, as it is unacceptable and illogical, and there is no point in justifying the director or the driver or anyone else.
We expected that, being a young man and a new MP, he would publicly apologize for this abusive act without any discussion, but perhaps in a country where scandal follows scandal and affair follows affair, these kinds of denunciations seem like petty nonsense, 'what's the problem, everyone steals like this and everyone does like this'.
In fact, we are not dealing with a theft here, but with another abuse in which a former head of the institution goes back to the place where he was a director, this time with the status of an MP and puts his car on charge, as if there is no place where you can charge your car in Tirana or as if an MP with his salary of 4 or 5 thousand euros per month cannot afford it.

Without talking about his stance, which is not at all that of a young politician who goes to Strasbourg and should behave like a pro-European, but justifies the wrong action when everything would at least pass with a public apology, therefore, not only to the citizens of Vlora who elected him, but to all Albanians, because he does not need that money, whether it was made with or without his knowledge or his associates./ CNA

The car of Socialist MP Ardit Bido, elected in May in the Vlora District, was photographed charging at the institution where he was director, the State Archives.
Ardit Bido was a representative of the PDIU, who was elected Director General of the Archives of Albania in 2016 and recently became a SP MP in the Vlora District.
CNA was able to obtain photos from the courtyard of the State Archives where Ardit Bido loads his vehicle into the institution where he was director.
The photos were taken recently, we are not specifying the date, because we will bring it up in another article, after the ridiculous excuses of the former director, now MP.

CNA approached the socialist MP and asked him if this was his vehicle and if he was aware of the case.
In fact, Bido replied that he was in Strasbourg when the vehicle was there but then changed his mind. We confirm this as he was at a meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of Europe in Strasbourg, but the vehicle was photographed in the courtyard of the State Archives where he was director, when Bido was in Tirana.
The question is simple: How is it possible for a former socialist director, now a member of parliament, to go and charge his electric car in a public institution? For what? For the old 5,000 or 10,000 lek, which is what it costs to charge a car, or to have the luxury of providing free charging and parking in the courtyard of the institution he previously ran?
In fact, this is neither ethical nor moral. However, we professionally addressed Mr. Bido, who told us:
"Yes, that's my car, but I didn't use it, but a colleague of mine did while I was out these days, in Strasbourg. The fact that it was there is now becoming clear to me."
CNA will bring another material where we will specify when the vehicle was photographed, when was Mr. Bido here or did someone else park it?
Who drove the vehicle, the driver or someone else, is of little importance to us. The socialist MP's vehicle was photographed being loaded into the institution he ran with Albanian money.

Even though Bido is paid 3 or 4 thousand euros per month, he now has to charge his car in the yard of the company he runs.
Maybe he still thinks he is the director or why the current head of the institution allows vehicles to enter and be charged.
Why doesn't an ordinary citizen go there to charge their car for free?
Since when did the State Archives start providing free charging for electric cars?
CNA will bring other materials that will show that this is a scandal and Mr. Bido is not the only one who exploits the institutions where they worked or the office, the seats they hold as deputies or officials for personal gain./ CNA
