The Fier Court has found Xh. V. guilty and sentenced him to 25 years in prison.

The convict is accused of sexual relations with a minor. Xh. V. was arrested in January 2023, after abusing a minor whom he had invited to his apartment and then having sexual relations with.

At the request of the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction, Fier, at the end of the trial, Xhevahir Veizin was found guilty and sentenced to 25 years in prison for the criminal offense of "Sexual or homosexual relations with minors" provided for in Article 100 of the Criminal Code.

In the framework of the investigations into criminal proceedings no. 26, dated 13.01.2023, for the criminal offenses "Sexual or homosexual relations with minors", "Exploitation of prostitution" and "Illegal possession, production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", provided for in articles 100, 114 and 278/2 of the Criminal Code, it was proven that citizen Xh. V, taking advantage of the economic situation of the minor's family and the acquaintances they had, invited the minor to his apartment and then took advantage of her vulnerable situation by having sexual relations with her.

In the framework of this proceeding, the defendant Xh.V. was arrested in flagrante delicto on 12.01.2023.

After the completion of the investigations, the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Fier has sent the defendant Xh.V. for trial, for the criminal offense of "Sexual or homosexual relations with minors" provided for in Article 100 of the Criminal Code. Meanwhile, criminal proceedings have been separated for the other offenses.

In addition, the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Fier expresses its full commitment to the prompt investigation and legal accountability of persons who commit criminal offenses that violate or harm the well-being and normal development of minors.

Erion Veliaj and his media remnant, Mero Baze, continue to publicly deceive Albanians for the 36th day in a row.

The lies and accusations of Veliaj and Mero Baze against prosecutor Ols Dado continue, whom they claim conducted the investigations for revenge and in conflict of interest, since, according to them, he requested additional leave.

36 days and Mero Baze and Erion Veliaj have not published the document signed by Ols Dado and the refusal signed by Erion Veliaj.

Erion Veliaj's claim

In point 135, Veliaj says that prosecutor Ols Dado obtained a building permit from the Municipality of Tirana and then requested an addition to the permit and this was refused.

In point 136 of the unsealed and unsigned document, Erioni treats this as a matter of "revenge" on the part of prosecutor Ols Dado, because, according to him, he was not granted a construction permit for the addition after he made a request.

Mero Baze's claim

Mero Baze says that, according to him, the investigation against Veliaj is being insistently requested by a prosecutor, who months ago had a personal conflict with him, regarding his requests for a construction permit outside the legal criteria that the municipality had.

The Vlora Municipal Council has decided that Ermal Dredha will be replaced by Elis Halili, at the head of the municipality, until a new mayor is elected.
