Veliaj/Këlliçi's Dismissal: A Well-Deserved End for a Politician Corrupt in Pocket and Soul

Main events until 18:00

DP MP Belind Këlliçi has reacted after the vote in favor of dismissing Erion Veliaj at the Municipal Council meeting.

Këlliçi, in his reaction, emphasizes that this is the inevitable and deserved end for a politician who is corrupt in his pocket and in his soul.

Këlliçi underlined that Veliaj's dismissal is only the latest formalization of a degraded political model, wrapped in propaganda and stripped of any identity.

According to Këlliçi, this act closes a long political and legal process where for 44 weeks in a row, the Democratic Party and the opposition have protested in front of Tirana City Hall, exposing the unprecedented theft of the phantom incinerator, the corrupt "5D" machinery, as well as the crime against the city's heritage and memory, with the demolition of the National Theater, the destruction of Tirana's green lungs and above all the establishment of a model of arrogance and public contempt towards every critical and non-patriotic citizen.

He adds that today his battle against Erion Veliaj ends, but not against his model, the ugliest and most corrupt model that Albania has produced in the last 35 years.

Belind Kelliç's reaction

An inevitable and well-deserved end for a corrupt politician, both in his pocket and in his soul.

Today, at the Tirana Municipal Council, a hearing was held for the dismissal of the leader of 5D, Erion Veliaj, who has been in prison for months.

This is just the latest formalization of a degraded political model, wrapped in propaganda and stripped of any identity.

This act concludes a long political and legal process. For 44 weeks in a row, the Democratic Party and the opposition have protested in front of Tirana City Hall, exposing the unprecedented theft of the phantom incinerator, the corrupt “5D” machinery, as well as the crime against the city’s heritage and memory, with the demolition of the National Theater, the dismantling of Tirana’s green lungs, and above all, the establishment of a model of arrogance and public contempt for every critical and non-patriotic citizen.

Today Tirana breathes more freely, liberated from a bandit who concreted the city, destroyed cultural heritage, blocked the lives of citizens with suffocating traffic, and poisoned the air with the highest pollution in the region.

This mafia realtor turned the Municipality of Tirana into a dirty money laundering machine.

This concludes my battle against Erion Veliaj, but not against his model, the ugliest and most corrupt model that Albania has produced in the last 35 years.

A model that has spread throughout the country's governance, becoming a serious obstacle to the prospects of Albanian society, the well-being of citizens, and the functioning of democracy, according to the principle of stealing Albanians' money to steal votes.

Let this day also be the beginning of the end for every politician who thinks they can reproduce old crimes with new faces and propaganda.

This is a battle that we have proven can be won.

And it will be won.

But this will require a comprehensive effort, with all possible factors, with all the citizens of this country by our side.

Only in this way can we win against the model of evil and give the country the dignity it lacks!/ CNA

Assistant breaks Turkish Airlines scandal/ Reveals manipulations and abuses

Main events until 18:00

For weeks, CNA has been bringing a series of materials and investigations to discover who is behind the attacks and who will destroy the airline Air Albania.

There were a series of attacks and articles in the media that pointed the finger at Air Albania, so CNA began an investigation and went beyond to learn the truth about who was orchestrating these attacks and where they came from.

The investigation began by looking for balance sheets at the Central Bank, which were not there. In the next step, we sent an e-mail to “Turkish Airlines”, the parent company of “Air Albania”, which is also the shareholder with the highest percentage, but the company remained silent.

The emails continued, to the auditor, to the “Big Four Ernst & Young (EY)” regarding the company's balance sheets and their audit. But still silence.

Then we continued the investigation and issued a court decision, which showed and revealed an abuse, perhaps a major theft of millions of euros, related to catering, where according to the data, 120 people a day traveled in "business class" with "Air Albania". An entire plane a day in "business class", but again no response.

After an article in CNA, other articles were published against “Air Albania”. It was said that it had not paid the aircraft leases. A “revelation” that came from Switzerland. We wrote to the company from which “Air Albania” had leased aircraft, but the response we received was no comment.

Main events until 18:00

Numerous questions from CNA regarding the company but no answers were given.

"Turkish Airlines", which as we pointed out is also the largest shareholder, the parent company of Air Albania, is one of the major global companies that has many "daughters", somewhere in partnership with Germany, somewhere in partnership with the Albanian state, but unlike the others, "Air Albania" is being hit and hit.

It was abused, misused by managers, executives, former executives, who are under the shelter of "Turkish Airlines". So, it was "Turkish Airlines" itself that managed the company in Albania since its founding and the balance sheets kept getting heavier.

The balance sheets of a company that had been promised 7 aircraft, but could not even complete two, were being weighed down. From all this data, we have discovered that theft and abuse have occurred at "Air Albania", which were revealed by a court decision.

Today, a scandal was revealed that actually confirms the investigation conducted by CNA.

Banu Zehra Ozansoy, who has worked as a cabin attendant at Turkish Airlines for 28 years, told AirportHaber what she experienced during her time working at Air Albania for the period September 2022-2023.

She has told of cases where she has been bullied at work. Ozansoy has said that she has faced conspiracies and attempts to discredit her.

What did Banu Zehra Ozansoy confess?

Ozansoy has shown how manipulations were carried out by Turkish Airlines staff.

Ozansoy stressed that she accepted the position at Air Albania at the insistence of Turkish Airlines managers and that she was initially welcomed with flowers, but soon encountered problems. She alleged that the cabin supervisors, Turkish Airlines staff, who came to Albania on assignment from Turkish Airlines itself, acted as if they had flown without even going on the flight, receiving payments and causing damage to the company with hotel expenses, reporting correctly for 100 flight hours.

Ozansoy said that after she reported the situation to management, she was targeted and claimed that Flight Operations President Muhittin Apayd?n manipulated her, initiating an organized discrediting process against her. According to Ozansoy, her duties were unfairly terminated as a result of this conspiracy.

Deportation and legal battle

Ozansoy said that she had sent the process she experienced to the Chairman of the Board of Turkish Airlines, Ahmet Bolat, by e-mail, but despite this, there was no solution to her problem. She also claimed that, at the request of Sinan Dilek, former CEO of Air Albania, she was forcibly evicted from the apartment she was renting, even though the rental contract was still in force. Stating that she filmed the moments of the eviction, Ozansoy also claimed that her lawyers did not adequately defend her in the legal process she filed in Albania and that the documents were presented incompletely.

"My victimization must be eliminated"

Ozansoy stressed that this process has caused her great material and moral damage, that her psychological state has been shaken and that the victimization she has experienced must end. She added that the cabin attendants, who committed the irregularities she reported, are still on duty at Turkish Airlines.

Banu Zehra Ozansoy emphasized that the injustices she has suffered must end and that those responsible must be held accountable.

This denunciation by Banu Zehra Ozansoy shows the manipulations and abuses that have been carried out by Turkish Airlines. The schemes seem to be unraveling and the truth is coming to light.

The investigation will continue until all parts are revealed and the truth emerges about who is behind the attacks on Air Albania.

As we have emphasized in previous articles and investigations, we are dealing with a directed and well-orchestrated attack with the ultimate goal of bankrupting Air Albanian./ CNA

The second phase of "EU4Law" is presented/ Dumani: SPAK has shown with actions that no one is untouchable and above the law

Main events until 18:00

The head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, participated in the presentation of the second phase of the "EU4Law 2" project.

In his speech, the head of SPAK said that thanks to the support through this project, justice is being measured with concrete results and this structure has shown through actions that there are no persons above the law and no one is untouchable.

Dumani said that today SPAK has an alliance with EU countries, the US and Latin American countries,

"It is a special pleasure that today we are marking the second phase of the project, which has an extraordinary importance for the consolidation of the rule of law in Albania.

Yesterday the word justice was perceived more as a promise than a reality, today thanks to the justice reform and the support of our strategic partners we are at a stage where justice is being measured by concrete results. SPAK is committed to showing with actions that no one is above the law and no one is untouchable, this is the essence of our mandate and the responsibility we have towards citizens.

In this journey, the support provided in the first phase has been a positive step. Thanks to it, we have strengthened our operational capacities, integrated advanced investigative techniques, promoted a multidisciplinary approach, and increased inter-institutional and international cooperation.

Today we can talk about a coalition built by SPAK and almost all member states of the European Union, led by Italy, with whom we have greater cooperation, but with all EU member states we have successful, continuous cooperation.

We also have successful cooperation with the United Kingdom, Switzerland, the United States, Latin American countries, and countries in the region.

Thanks to this cooperation, we have shown through action that SPAK is able to confront and prosecute criminal organizations, regardless of their financial power and their connections with other organized crime groups.

The second phase goes beyond technical and financial support, it fosters a shared vision in Albania with strong, independent and functional institutions at the forefront of the fight against corruption and organized crime.

This is a vision that coincides with the expectations of Albanian citizens and with the standards required by the EU integration process.

Support for this project should focus on key areas: increasing the quality of complex investigations and their more effective administration, increasing the operational capacities of SPAK and BKH, supplementing the capacities of crime laboratories with modern standards, reducing the backlog of cases by bringing a more efficient pace to investigations, supporting the drafting of by-laws in accordance with jurisprudence and international standards, establishing joint investigative teams in the field of money laundering, smuggling, online fraud and organized crime.

Digital evidence management and the use of AI, developing a strategic approach, training and exchange of experiences, and strengthening cooperation with Europol and Eurojust, Interpol.

"This is an ambitious and necessary project for SPAK, we see it as an instrument to further strengthen SPAK's institutional capacity," said Dumani./ CNA
