This is the place where the wedding is only $15

They say love costs nothing. But this is certainly not true for weddings.

In 2022, couples in the United States spent an average of about $30,000 to get married, according to a report from wedding website The Knot.

But it wasn't always like that. 

In Las Vegas, at a venue called the Chapel of Flowers, couples can get married for just $15 for a wedding package that includes:

· A ceremony on site

· A 10-minute photoshoot and five 4x6 photos

· A wedding bouquet

· Live broadcast of the ceremony

The price of the package is usually $500.

The discounted wedding package is part of a celebration commemorating 70 years since Las Vegas was first awarded the title, according to a campaign promoting Las Vegas as the "Wedding Capital of the World."

The package is available for 70 pairs. As of today, all packages are still available, Sharpe told CNBC./CNA
