Hapet në Finlandë një nga urat më të gjata dhe më të larta në botë

Ura Kruunuvuorensilta, më e gjata dhe më e larta në botë u hap zyrtarisht në Finlandë.

Ura shtrihet në 1,191 metra dhe është e hapur ekskluzivisht për këmbësorët, çiklistët dhe transportin publik.

Vetëm pesë kilometra e gjysmë larg qendrës së qytetit, kjo urë duke e zvogëluar distancën nga 11 kilometra drejt Helsinkit. 

Ura lidh qendrën e Helsinkit me distriktin ishullor të Laajasalos, duke mbështetur zhvillimin e një komuniteti të ri bregdetar me lidhje transporti të drejtpërdrejta dhe me karbon të ulët në qytet.

Elementi i saj përcaktues është një shtyllë qendrore 135 metra e lartë, e formuar si një formë diamanti e hollë që i referohet pronësisë historike të kurorës së gjirit përreth. Struktura është konceptuar qëllimisht si një shënues vizual, i dukshëm nga ajri dhe në të gjithë horizontin e qytetit./CNA
