Director Piro Milkani has given a message from Pogradeci to the great writer Ismail Kadare.

Milkani said that next year the 15th edition of the Festival will be dedicated to the cinematographic work that essentially has the creativity of Kadare.

The director stated that Kadare has made an excellent contribution to cinematography as well, as he expressed his condolences to the family of the luminary of Albanian literature.

"The organizing staff of the Balkan Film and Culinary Festival in Pogradec express their deep and sincere condolences for the loss of our great writer, Ismail Kadare. This staff was founded 14 years ago by Fatos Baxhaku, Eno Milkani, Gerta Qurku and is working better every year. Next year, in the 15th edition, there will be days dedicated to the cinematographic work, the core of which is the literary creativity of Ismail Kadare, who has made an excellent contribution with his works. Once again, we express our sincere condolences to the Kadare family", said Milkani./ CNA
