Maria-Rosa Szychowska is the Polish artist who is creating the mural on the facade of the building at the border and customs point of Kapštica. 

In an interview for CNA TV, the artist stated that she is painting daisy flowers. She says that the work is going well, as Albania has a good climate and food. 

"It is my first painting in Albania, and also my first visit. Albania is very nice and I feel that the people are very warm and welcoming. The landscapes are very beautiful, the weather is very good and the food is delicious. I'm painting flowers, the daisies that you find in the surroundings, in order to bring more warmth to this building, but the project is done in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and the office of the Prime Minister. I have seen both extremes, I came from Canada where I painted in very low temperatures, then I painted in Honduras where it was very hot, so Albania is between these two, it is perfect", he said she. 

The artist clarified during the interview that the mural more or less requires a week of work with extended hours. 

"More or less, the mural requires 1 week, working long hours. I was in Tirana here as well, then I will go to Qafë-Thanë. I hope if I have time at the end of the project I will visit the place a little. Even in Qafë-Thanë I will paint murals based on flowers. I love to paint in Tirana, it would be very nice, but I also have some other places to paint in the month of July. The passion started when I was very young I was painting at home, and everything was built eventually. Now I have many years of experience, some people say we can't paint, but it's just a lack of practice," she said./ CNA
