Her achievements to date have been quite large, as she has twice been the costume designer of the Gjirokastra Festival, duly representing the tradition of the beautiful city of Korça. For him, creating a gallery that he finally managed to realize was a dream left in the drawer.

"I made the first costume in 2011. It started out of the blue, my husband opened a hall and there was a need for these children to dress up, to perform different dances, to wear the costumes of the area. And that's how it started. Throughout Since then, I have not worked as a costume designer at the Gjirokastra festival. in 2023 costume designer at the Gjirokastra festival. But what I want to say. I have always been incomplete because I have those photos left on my mobile phone and today my dream exploded and I want to share it with all the people, how beautiful our folk is, how rich Korça is with its costumes, and today I want to share this dream with everyone. I want to celebrate together with my dream and tradition and I have them invite everyone to celebrate for such beautiful values ??that we have."

Lirika Pojani, despite having a lot to talk about herself, has chosen to focus on the newly inaugurated gallery in the city's pedestrian area. Between emotions, she tells us in detail what art lovers, Kor?ari citizens, young people and visitors can find in her "Ethno Art" gallery. One of the oldest costumes dates back to 1988, a civic costume with which it was also represented in Gjirokastër, while the oldest still is the costume of the women of the village of Dardhë, which carries a special story of its revival.

"In the exhibition, in addition to the costumes of the Korça district, starting with Dardha's costume. In Dardha's costume we have the symbol of Korça for women, because Dardha was a citizen. Then for men we have the costume of Devolli with the frock, with the vest with wings I didn't leave an ornament on Dardha's dress, bringing it from an old lady's chest. I worked on it with so much love and leaving no detail behind , where I was also represented in Gjirokastër with this costume and it makes the girls even more beautiful when they wear it. I am very happy that I have made this costume part of the "Skënderbeu" ensemble."

What impresses us during our visit near the Etno Art gallery is undoubtedly the precious value that continues to be kept alive as a tradition of the area by Lirika. She says that every detail of the costumes is a line of history that belongs to Korça, a tradition that the new generation should also enjoy.

"A lot of value, they are very precious, every detail of the costume is a line of history that belongs to us. Working this gallery, because I brought some traditions, the first thing I thought is that anyone who sees it, awakens that feeling of love and you give emotions. If this happens, I have achieved. And not only the desire to come, by seeing it, by touching it, will arise the desire to create these folk motifs in everyday life or at a party, to love and bring money. And so from generation to generation we pass on this beautiful tradition."

Sleepless nights, immense fatigue, during all these years, but for Lyrika what is most important is the concretization of every old element of clothing. If nowadays we cannot find the element of xibun, Lirika could very well adapt this to the element of shajak.

"I am very tired. Sleepless nights. I am tired because I was worried about being very concrete in the tradition, so that no element would move me. Nowadays we cannot find that xibun, that material that was made in those years, but we have opportunity. I have brought it to shajak, in materials that I can have, but this does not mean that the value falls. I have shaved all the elements that the costume has."

The newly inaugurated gallery by the Korça artist is the realization of her long-standing dream.
