"Silvio Gonzato, Rama's ambassador"/ Berisha: I cannot hide the

Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha has reacted to statements made by EU Ambassador to Albania Silvio Gonzato, stating that the latter is Rama's ambassador.

Berisha said that he cannot hide the truths and that he will continue to denounce their actions.

"I once again declare to Albanians that absolutely everything I have said, I have had and I have based it on at least two or more sources.

I have the greatest respect and the greatest sympathy for the European Commission, for the ambassadors, for the representatives of the member states.

But absolutely there is and there can be nothing in the world that prevents me from denouncing what I consider to be unacceptable, right. And I do not intend to stop now at the chain of comments and give examples.

I have no desire to argue because I said that I have the greatest respect for the European Commission, the European Parliament, and the representatives of the member states, but I can never agree with unacceptable acts.

"That's why I denounced them not today, but as you know, years and years ago, years to come, and I will denounce them. I cannot hide the truth. I would not be who I am. That's why this is my answer," Berisha said./ CNA
