April 17th Protest/ Court of Appeal releases 5 protesters, Noka: Rama owes them

The Court of Appeal has decided to release from prison the 5 protesters who were arrested after the April 17 protest.

The Court of Appeals convened today at the request of the defense, which requested the release from the cell of five protesters who were under the security measure "Arrest with imprisonment".

After hearing the parties, Judge Dritan Hasa decided to change the security measure from "Arrest in prison" to "Obligation to report to the judicial police" for Klement Çuçka, Bujar Tu?a, Henri Shapllo, Mirvet Tocilla and Semi Biçi.

The Secretary General of the Democratic Party, Flamur Noka, stated that Edi Rama and Skënder Hita owe the 25 days of prison to innocent citizens.

"Edi Rama and Skënder Hita, along with the bandits in and out of police uniforms, owe five innocent citizens 25 days in prison. They owe this pressure to their families and of course the opposition is taking note. The opposition takes note of every drug police officer who signs illegal arrests.

It keeps a record of every pressure that is put on the court, according to our information, to leave illegal imprisonments in force, it keeps a record of every criminal act against protesters, and only two will be responsible for this: Edi Rama and Skënder Hita.

"Our peaceful protest and uprising will continue until the drug regime is eradicated and a political solution is made to offer stability to Albania. With all these actions, Edi Rama, together with his criminal gang, are greatly helping and investing in the instability of the country," Noka said./ CNA
