The Head of the High Judicial Council, Ilir Rusi, delivered his speech at the inauguration of the new premises of the Special Court, where he stated that this is a moment of strong symbolism for Albanian justice.

Rusi emphasized that improving infrastructure and ensuring working conditions are fundamental to the credibility of the justice system. He added, among other things, that the Supreme Court of Justice will continue to be committed to strengthening the independence, efficiency, and modernization of the judicial system.

"A moment with strong symbolism for Albanian justice. The journey of Albanian justice has been long and not easy. Today's challenge is to build an independent justice system for citizens. The reform of justice has brought great challenges and requires work and dedication. These Courts represent key institutions in the fight against corruption and organized crime. Improving infrastructure and guaranteeing working conditions are foundations for the credibility of the justice system and Albania's future in Europe. Today, the path to the EU also passes through the results of the justice system. Our international partners continue to support the reform of the justice system. The Supreme Court of Justice will continue to be committed to strengthening the independence, efficiency and modernization of the judicial system ," said Rusi. /CNA
