United Colleges decide on Monday/ Sadushi's "Window" to release

On Monday at noon, the United Colleges are expected to issue a decision regarding the interim decision taken by the President of the Supreme Court Sokol Sadushi, who is not authorized to serve the mayor arrested for 13 charges and 5 serious criminal offenses, Erion Veliaj, for the application of the measure of imprisonment.

The United Colleges will make a decision on Monday, May 4, whether or not to vote on the interim decision made by Sadushi to release Veliaj from his cell, using the case of Begtash Zeneli as justification. 

On April 9, at 09:30, the United Colleges gathered in a court session to review an act of shame taken by partisan Sadushi, which is specifically the interim decision for "Initiation of the procedure for the partial change of the unified judicial practice, regarding decision no. 7, dated 14.10.2011 of the United Colleges of the Supreme Court".

The scenario is clear. The purpose of this act is political, with the aim of releasing the arrested mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, from prison.

The unqualified Sokol Sadushi, through this interim decision, seeks to make procedural changes that ultimately lead to changing the criteria for imposing the security measure, thus serving Erion Veliaj as a major embarrassment to the head of the Supreme Court and his friend Mero Baze, a mercenary journalist, suicide bomber of the Veliaj family./ CNA
