Meta responds to physical changes: From the long hours of training, my suits are old

Former President Ilir Meta has spoken out regarding comments about the physical changes he has undergone, which were noticed in the courtroom on Monday.

In a written interview broadcast on the show "Opinion", Meta said that this change in weight is due to long hours of physical training, while his clothing has not been based on his current size.

Meta described the focus on his physical appearance as an attempt to divert public attention from the legal process against him.

"It is an attempt to divert the public's attention from the process. I have lost weight because I exercise 4 hours a day and I am healthier than before. The costumes are old. I am undergoing almost two years of re-education. The local tailors know the new sizes," Meta said. /CNA
