Balla concludes his testimony for "Partizan": I filed the complaint

The head of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Taulnat Balla, has completed his testimony at the GJKKO on the "Partizani" file. After leaving the GJKKO premises, Balla made a statement to the media, where he said that he stands by all the statements he made in the complaint.

Balla said that he filed the report under his own name and not under any other name and bears full responsibility for it.

Asked about the summoning of Prime Minister Rama as a witness in the "Partizani" file and whether he will appear, Balla responded that the responsibility for appearing is individual.

During his speech, Balla also touched on another report he made, regarding January 21, for which he said he hopes to appear before the Criminal Court in the coming days regarding this issue.

" The fact that in the dock there are people who have governed the country for 35 years and are accused of corruption is good news for all Albanians. I hope that the process will be fair and that everyone who has these responsibilities will be held accountable. I am one of those people who filed the criminal report under my name, not under another name, and I have stood by all the statements made in the report. I hope and pray that in the coming days I will be here for another report, the one for January 21st."

Everything that is worth saying was said in the courtroom, the rest is for public consumption. The part of appearing in court is an individual responsibility. The reports I have made are an individual responsibility and I take responsibility for them.

"As far as the investigations go, as far as it went from abuse of office to corruption, of course I'm satisfied ," Balla said.
