Prime Minister Edi Rama has announced that the government's Media and Information Agency has received positive assessments according to the SIGMA-OECD report.

Rama shared this news as a response to those who bombarded and smeared him from all sides.

"Until yesterday, they bombarded and muddied it from all sides, some from the inside and some from the outside, putting up a fuss and wasting paint, for their reports independent not only of the government, but also of the facts...

But the truth is different, very different, because this government's Media and Information Agency, baptized at its birth with the bombs and mud of the fourth power, played a completely different role, and it is in quality service to the media and the public, of course.

And I'm not saying this anymore. Nor is the government of a country that is routinely and often quite unintentionally targeted for press freedom. This is what the SIGMA-OECD report says, one of those international institutional sources whose strong reputation is built on respect for facts, not on perceptions, on professional analysis, not on arbitrary prejudices, on objective assessments of truths, not on subjective amplifications of half-truths!
