Hasimja: The system of trust in justice, with a changed perception by the imprisonment of politicians

Political scientist Ermal Hasimja said today that in the situation the country finds itself in, the system of citizens' trust in justice institutions is an essential element.

Invited to the show 'Opinion', Hasimja stated that credibility is crucial in improving or worsening the trust relationship.

The political scientist also emphasized that in recent years there has been a different perception of justice, due to decisions that have sent several politicians to prison.

"An important element is the system of trust that justice inspires in people. This either hinders work or helps it. We have seen that this kind of perception has changed because it is putting politicians in prison. Public trust is at risk and if it falls or is affected, there is potential for damage to the image of justice," Hasimja said./CNA
