Is Edi Rama ashamed?

For several times in a row, Prime Minister Edi Rama has appeared in the media, attacking the citizens?protest, which he calls a ?shame?. Rama has tried to justify the stratospheric rise of the prices with the war in Ukraine, and according to him the protest shames the albanian people.

Moreover, he stated today: ?This protest ugly Albania, it shames the albanians. In the few days since the war began, there has been a shock because rising prices. But what will we do if this story goes on for months and years. We will go out to eat each other on the street?

Russia may like this protest. This is one part of the strategy of that war. That the people who support Ukraine go out in economic protests, and then forget what is being played there.

The fate of Ukraine is not at stake there, but that of Europe?.

Beyond what Rama declares, protest is a fundamental right in a democracy, and citizens protesting in all four corners of the country for their rights doesn?t feel ashamed. But is the Prime Minister himself ashamed of impoverishing the albanians citizen?

Does Edi Rama feel ashamed that he has taken the third term of government, and the only thing he does is propaganda on social networks and on television screens? Is the Prime Minister ashamed that he has two former ministers in prison?

Is Rama ashamed that in 8 years of rule he has imposed emigration abroad to hundreds of thousands of people? Does Edi Rama feel ashamed that Albania ranks among the countries with the highest number of asylum applications in European Union countries? Is the Prime Minister ashamed to be surrounded from corruption?

Is Rama ashamed of the corrupt affair of the century, that of the incinerator concession, which amounts to 430 million euros? Well, it is a shame to steal, to abuse the taxes of the citizens, not to serve them, to be surrounded by corruption, to impoverish the country he leads, and not to protest./CNA.al
