A forced response to Agron Shehaj

On Monday evening on the screen of MCN TV, in the show ?The Unexposed? of the journalist Ylli Rakipi were invited to the studio Arjan Çani, Tomorr Alizoti, Ylli Rakipi, Neritan Sejamini and Agron Shehaj. I was in an online link from Germany, discussing for the problems of the Democratic Party, as one of the people that from the first days, and from the first steps I was a fierce critic of Lulzim Basha.

I was convinced that Basha was a businessman and not a politician. A man who had instigated the disruption and destruction of the Democratic Party. So maybe I had predicted to some extent the situation where is the Democratic Party after the March 6 elections.

Anyway, it doesn?t all start on March 6, but much faster. But in the DP there are still certain people that don?t want to accept this truth. They refuse to accept that everything started on July 22, 2013, when Sali Berisha appointed Lulzim Basha at the head of the DP.

And in the ongoing debate, MP Agron Shehaj, said that we as the media, I personally, but also as the director of CNA.al should apologize, as we had stated several times that he paid money to be elected MP of Democratic Party. CNA.al has often emphasized the fact that in the list of deputies in the 2017 elections, there were several dozen deputies who paid money for to enter parliament.

And this we don’t invented from our minds. We have simply repeated what have said the deputies themselves, such as the case of Bledion Nallbati, who declares across the tables that he has paid in certain structures close to Lulzim Basha to run within the winning list of the district of Korça.

At that time, were rumored many names, among them the businessman Agron Shehaj. I am finally clarifying Mr.Shehaj here, since Ylli Rakipi didn?t allow me to give the right answers. First, Shehaj and the Shehaj phenomenon are among the main causes of the tragedy where the Democratic Party ended today.

Because guilty are not only Berisha or Basha. It is tragic that Agron Shehaj comes out and says that he has brought change in this party, that he returned the race, that he ran in the Assembly of July 2021, etc. In fact, with his candidacy he did nothing else, but legalize a farce race, a race with stolen votes, a shameful race. So he was the notary of a process manipulated by Lulzim Basha.

Secondly, Mr. Shehaj must show the public how much cost him the 2017 election campaign, not according to the documents he submitted to the Central Election Commission, but the hundreds of thousands of euros spent in Vlora, a district where he was first on the list.

Third, Shehaj must explain to the democrats how he was the first to be catapulted in that district? What was his political contribution? So in 2017 there were many accusations of buying seats in the lists of MPs.

Shehaj wasn?t an ordinary candidate. He was the head of the Vlora district, where the fourth on the list was Arben Ristani, the General Secretary of the Democratic Party. So even though he came from the street but with pockets full of money, Shehaj managed to be placed at the top of the list without any political contribution to the DP.

This should be clarified by Mr.Shehaj, or even Lulzim Basha, and they should no longer tell us lies, but the truth. Finally, we don?t have to apologize to Mr. Agron Shehaj. I tell him publicly, on behalf of CNA.al that he cannot and no longer needs to lie.

In case he wants to be true, Shehaj must say how much cost him the 2017 campaign, and how he was ranked first in the list of Vlora district, and why did he record a catastrophic result, and support again Lulzim Basha?

Because, let us remember that in 2017, DP has received the lowest historical result with only 3 mandates with Agron Shehaj at the top of the list. Shehaj doesn?t say these things, just as he doesn?t tell how he passed in the Tirana district in the 2021 elections and why?

Therefore, he should tell the truth, and not ask others to apologize publicly. There is no apology for a truth that Agron Shehaj wants to hide, and doesn?t want to tell the democrats and albanians citizen./CNA.al
