The future is sealed, Sandro Tonali signs

Sandro Tonali has renewed his contract with Newcastle until 2029, with the option to extend until 2030. The news was recently made public by British media, but the agreement was signed months ago, during the player's suspension period for the betting issue.

This renewal was part of a plan by the club to balance financial aspects and secure the future of the Italian midfielder.

In recent weeks, Tonali has been linked with a return to Serie A, with Juventus believed to be the most interested club. However, with his new contract and high transfer fee, a move to Italy is unlikely in the short term.

Newcastle consider the 24-year-old to be a central part of their long-term sporting project, so any avenue linking Tonali to a return to Italy appears to be closed for the time being.
