Thuram's return postponed, expected to be ready in November

Marcus Thuram's injury turns out to have been more serious than initially thought.

The French Inter striker, injured on September 30, is suffering from a muscular injury and still does not have an exact return date.

Coach Chivu confirmed that Thuram will not be part of the team for the match against Napoli and is expected to return to training only after two weeks. Even the match against Fiorentina next midweek is seen as unlikely for his activation.

The most realistic objective remains the November 2 match against Verona, however, even there participation may be limited.

The club aims for the player's full return for the Champions League match against Kairat on November 5. In his absence, the black and blue attack has reacted well, with Lautaro and the other players keeping the team's rhythm.
