Silvinjo makes the decision, invites the striker for the first time

Cristian Shpendi will be called up for the first time with the Albanian National Team.

The Cesena striker, who has had good performances and scored several goals in Serie B, has been selected by coach Silvino. He will be part of the team for the two matches in September.

The Reds will play a friendly against Gibraltar and then a World Cup qualifying match against Latvia.

Shpendi has previously represented Albania at U-19 and U-21 levels. This will be his first time in the first representative team. The 22-year-old striker is seen as an important alternative for the offensive department. His collection marks an important innovation in the September list.

The bird was also rumored in Italy, but will ultimately be part of Albania.
