Women's Vllaznia receives 11 reinforcements/ First match on Wednesday

Vllaznia in girls' football has made 11 reinforcements on the eve of the second round matches in the Champions League. The red-blue girls' group challenges will be played on August 27 in Shkodër. Vllaznia will have its first match against Dinamo Minsk of Bulgaria at 19:00 and in case of qualification to the final, will play with the winner of the Ferencvaros-Racing Union match.

Vllaznia's president, Lazër Matija, said that with the 11 reinforcements made, he expects a dignified performance to advance to the Play Off stage. 

"During this period, the players have been prepared and trained. Some of them have been on trial, but today we are presenting them. There are 11 new players, almost the entire team. They are quality players and with them we aim to qualify," said Matija. 

Some of the players who came as reinforcements to Vllaznia are optimistic about qualifying for the final and then the Play Off phase.

"I feel very good. The team is working hard and I believe that we will go far with Vllaznia. Our level is growing every day. I have been to Albania before with my family, because I am Albanian-American and I am happy to be here. I believe that we will succeed," said Tereza Deda.

"Since I arrived I have found very nice people in Albania. Vllaznia is a good team that has made history in the Champions League. I hope we can do it again and I have full confidence that we can win the matches," said Sophie Kastro. 

"It's a good opportunity in my life. Vllaznia is a good and reputable team. We have trained well for the past month and a half, the city has welcomed me very warmly and I hope to give my best for the team and the city. I chose Vllaznia as a good opportunity for me and we will give our best to qualify for the Play Offs", said Cristina Cabanas. 

If Vllaznia qualifies against the Bulgarian team Dinamo Minsk, the final will be on August 30 at the "Loro Boriçi" stadium to then advance to the Champions League Play Off. The Shkodra girls are expected to have the support of the red and blue fans on the evening of August 27 in this important match. /CNA
