Historic and spectacular victory from Como, Lazio and Fiorentina suffer

Como achieved a historic victory at the start of Serie A, defeating Lazio 2-0 at the Giuseppe Sinigaglia Stadium. This is the first time since 1951 that Como has won the opening match of the championship.

Under the leadership of Cesc Fàbregas, the team, reinforced by 12 new signings, showed convincing play, dominating most of the game.

The first goal came in the 47th minute through Anastasios Douvikas, after an assist from Nico Paz. The latter sealed the result with a precise free kick from distance in the 73rd minute, giving Como three valuable points. Lazio appeared to struggle throughout the match, while Castellanos' goal was also disallowed for offside.

Another important match was played in Sardinia, where Cagliari and Fiorentina drew 1-1. Mandragora scored for the visitors in the 70th minute, but in the 94th minute Luperto equalized for the home team.
