Armando Broja has yet to make his Burnley debut, but manager Scott Parker confirmed that his return to the field is very close.

After the 2-0 win over Sunderland in the Premier League, the English coach said that the Albanian striker is only slightly behind the form of his teammates. He could get minutes in the next match in the League Cup against Derby County, this Tuesday.

Parker stressed that he would not take any risks with Brog, given his fitness issues over the past two years. The 23-year-old spent last season on loan at Everton.

This summer, Chelsea sold Broja to Burnley for €23 million, a sum lower than the initial asking price but almost double his current transfer value.
