Boniface transfer fails, Milan "picket" another striker

Milan have finally given up on the pursuit of striker Victor Boniface, who has returned to Germany after medicals.

Bayer Leverkusen sporting director Simon Rolfes confirmed that negotiations have ended and there will be no return to talks. After this, the Rossoneri leaders have focused on alternatives for the offensive department.

The most talked about name is that of Sporting Lisbon's Conrad Harder, for whom a meeting has been held with his agent in Milan. The Dane, born in 2005, is seen as an important option, with a valuation of around 30 million euros. Meanwhile, the scenario of a swap between Juventus' Vlahovic and Saelemaekers is not ruled out.

Other names on the list are Genk's Arokodare and Monaco's Embolo, while coach Massimiliano Allegri was present at the club's latest meeting to discuss options.
