Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted to the incident that occurred today in the Parliament offices, where MP Agron Shehaj was caught stealing the Agreement document with the US.
Through a post on social media, Rama shares footage from the event, for which he expresses regret, while adding that the prosecution must act.
"This guy who steals a classified document and runs away is a ballist who raises and lowers the thief who comes across him, but as you can see today, he tried to run away just like ballists after entering the coop to rob chickens, proving to us universally that vice comes with the soul. I hope, but I don't hope, that the prosecution will show the place defined by the law for robbers of classified documents to this hate-filled thieving crow, while expressing regret to the innocent girl, thanking God that she escaped without serious damage from running in panic after the thief," Rama wrote./CNA
