Alimehmeti: Rama cannot be trusted, Socialist MPs obey him

Democrat Ilir Alimehmeti commented today on the strategic document "BESA" presented by Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Speaking about this issue to "Syri TV", Alimehmeti said that Rama cannot be trusted because Albanians are clear that he does not deserve it.

According to the democrat, socialist MPs only do what Rama tells them, through voting in the Assembly.

"They just do what he says, it's not worth talking about the deputies of the Socialist Party and those who support the Socialist Party. From this aspect, there is nothing new. It means that that parliament should simply be like a notary, that simply passes, since pro forma acts have to be passed here and that's it, and you don't understand that the parliament is actually, should be as the word says, the place where we speak our minds and are the voice of the citizens. So, should we trust Edi Rama, did this agreement come to us from the strategic partner or did it come to us from Edi Rama? And you can't trust him and you can't trust this man, because we have seen very clearly that he doesn't deserve it and is not trusted", - said Alimehmeti./CNA
