"The protest is bringing out the anger of Albanians"/ Murrizi: The SP

Former MP, Myslim Murrizi, today expressed harsh criticism of the two main political forces in the country.

Invited to A2 CNN, Murrizi stated that in the last five elections, the representatives voted for by citizens have been completely disconnected from them and do not even belong to them.

"In 5 elections, 2009, 2013, 2017, 2021, 2025, the MPs of all political forces, but especially the SP-PD, do not represent the citizens. They are disconnected from the citizens, they do not belong to them, they do not feel for them," said Murrizi.

Further, the former MP commented on the citizen protests against the government that have been going on for more than 50 days, which he considered an outlet for the accumulated anger of Albanians.

"I understand the protesters in venting their accumulated anger, as it is part of the killing of fear. So, this protest for me has done two very good and positive things. First, it awakened the citizen's nerves, unlike the protests called by the Democratic Party. Second, it removed the false veil of the Sultan of Surrel, who made theater at every international meeting", said Murrizi./ CNA
