In a democratic society, politicians leave, not citizens.

In a normal democratic society, when the state fails, institutions collapse, corruption is present everywhere, and when the government abuses citizens, it is the politicians who should be removed from sight, not the citizens.

For 36 years, Albania has been served an inverted logic: "Go, citizen, into emigration; endure, citizen, poverty; remain silent, citizen, in the face of arrogance, corruption, crime, robbery, injustice!"

Meanwhile, the establishment that built this system continues to appear as the savior of Albanians. The very ones who are the authors of our catastrophe.

But the most basic logic says that the establishment does not willingly tear down the house it has built for itself.

The solution cannot be for those who have abused power, destroyed institutions, captured the state, and built a closed system of privileges to once again seek the trust of citizens with the promise that this time they will do things differently.

Even those opposition forces that initiated this anti-values ??system and with their refractory stance keep power afloat cannot claim the trust of citizens.

Both parties are the causes of a problem that requires a solution.

And, when society demands change, it cannot accept that change be orchestrated and led by the same people, the same interests, and the same structures.

If society once again accepts the same actors and factors that prevent young people and new alternatives from entering politics and becomes convinced that without the existing political class there is no stability, opposition, or future, then the establishment has been defeated and has finally triumphed./ CNA
