Servilism was considered a "good thing" for the party.

Time passed. The old party left, the new ones came. The plenums remained in history; the Assemblies are making another history - that of the deputies who applaud without knowing why.

Serfdom has proven to be a terribly resilient species. It even evolved.

It used to be enough to applaud in the hall. Today you have to applaud on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and X. You used to stand up when the leader entered. Today you have to be the first to write “Visionary leader!”, “Giant!”, “Brilliant!”, or drop five fire emojis under the post.

Once upon a time there were organizational secretaries. Today there are page administrators and armies of anonymous profiles. The form changed, but the DNA remained the same.

The modern servile no longer waits for orders. He anticipates the boss's wishes. He doesn't wait for propaganda material, but produces it himself - a defensive post ready before the attack arrives, a biting comment about someone who hasn't said anything bad yet, but because "he can."

He is not content with defending power, but viciously attacks anyone who dares to ask a question, make an observation, or even criticize. This is the highest level of evolution: from passive servility to proactive servility.

Today you hear statements every day against corruption, bureaucracy, disinformation and fake news. But you will never hear a speech against servility. Because it is not seen as a problem. On the contrary: it is the lubricant that keeps the entire mechanism of power in motion.

In fact, as a policeman at a checkpoint at the Ministry of Interior humorously says: "The minister who came is better than the one who left. But I have a feeling that the one who will come will be even better."
