Shehi criticizes Rama: Not a word about the economy, reminds us that Albanians

Politician Dashamir Shehi commented today on the statements made on Friday by Prime Minister Edi Rama during the meeting of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group and the government cabinet.

Speaking on A2 CNN, Shehi expressed his critical views that Rama did not say a word about the country's economic situation and the problems of citizens.

Shehi also reopened the issue of the 4.2 million euro financing of the American rapper Kanye West concert, money that, according to him, could have gone to city theaters and Albanian culture.  

"Did you hear him say anything about the economy? In the sense of what troubles citizens have today. I'm not saying that you have to be some great professor for this job. I don't see any sector that shines, except for construction. The rest is a tabula rasa. There is no industry, agriculture and other things are at the same level. They are not building bridges and highways, but hotels for tourism. Those 4.2 million lek should have been given to the theaters of the districts that are disappearing, to sculptors to put up a couple of monuments. These people think that Albanians have played with their minds", - said Shehi./CNA
