IGJEUM: Monday with intense rainfall in some regions, temperatures drop

The Institute of Geosciences has today shared a forecast regarding weather conditions for the beginning of the week.

According to the data, Monday will be accompanied by rainfall, which will be more intense especially in some of the country's regions, while in other areas there will be no shortage of thunderstorms.

Also, according to forecasts, temperatures will drop and moderate to strong winds will blow during the day.

Precipitation:

Tomorrow (Monday, the 27th) intense rainfall is expected in the Shkodër and Lezha regions, while moderate to locally intense rainfall is expected in the Dibër and Durrës regions. Light to locally moderate rainfall is expected in the Kukës and Tirana regions. Light rainfall is expected in the other regions. In all regions, rainfall is expected to be accompanied by thunderstorms.

Tomorrow's storms and high intensity rainfall may create various problems, such as landslides and flooding in localized urban areas, depending on the sewage system in the regions of Shkodër, Dibër, Lezhë and Durrës.

Temperature

Tomorrow, minimum and maximum air temperatures are expected to reach:

on the coast: 21 / 31 °C

in lowlands: 20 / 33 °C

in mountainous areas: 16 / 27 °C

wind
