$302 million defense deal/ Opposition raises voice, Balla demands expedited procedure

Today, the chairman of the Socialist Party parliamentary group, Taulant Balla, announced that a proposal has been made for an accelerated procedure for the approval of the agreement with the US for financing with 302 million dollars for defense according to NATO standards.

Balla's statement has angered the opposition, which is demanding recognition of the agreement.

"We are here today to ratify a $302 million agreement. Defense services will be funded according to NATO standards."

The funds will only be used for approved services. The noisemakers will never understand such an agreement.

Based on the constitution and the rules of procedure of the assembly, we have proposed the accelerated review of this agreement, so that Albania can benefit from these services as soon as possible.
