Democratic Party MP, Tomor Alizoti, shared today a reaction regarding the police response to the protesters.

Through a video post on social media, Alizoti expresses that there is cruelty towards people protesting in the country, precisely from people who wear a uniform that should protect the citizen.

According to Alizoti, this cruelty may come from the fear of those in power that their political image will be ruined.

"Why all this cruelty towards people who protest; men, women, children and people who have no hope in their country. Why? So that the suit of the government is not ruined and soiled? Why do these police who should protect the citizen have a lust and aggressiveness to protect the ruler? What you are doing is very ugly. The protest has taken its dimension. It will be bigger. It has given its political message, that it no longer loves these people in power, that it no longer loves this prime minister, who only humiliates, slanders and insults Albanians who have taken the ways of the world. The police have a lust to serve the violators. You defile yourselves and show that you are servants of evil", - said Alizoti. /CNA
