Protests and investment in Zvërnec/ Rama to "France 24":

Prime Minister Edi Rama gave an interview to the prestigious French media outlet "France 24".

The main issue of the interview was related to the protests and investment in Zvërnec, for which Rama stated that there is a lot of interference, from Iran, but also from competitors in the region who do not want this development.

According to the head of government, the entire situation is related to other concerns of a part of the population who want things different from the promises and the project.

"Let me tell you exactly what is happening. There is a lot of interference, whether it is interference from Iran, with whom we have been in a cyber war for three years, or interference from competitors throughout the region who do not want this development in Albania. As I said, there are all the other concerns of a part of the population who want different things, but we were elected to do what we promised and among the promises is this project. It is very interesting, because in Tirana there are protests, while in Vlora, where the project is planned to be built, people want it", said Rama. /CNA
