World-famous Albanian singer Dua Lipa chose an exclusive Chanel creation for her special wedding day.

The renowned fashion house shared details about the process of creating the wedding dress, describing it as a rare work of Haute Couture craftsmanship.

According to Chanel, the dress was made entirely by hand in its ateliers at 31 Rue Cambon, the brand's iconic address in Paris.

Chanel's renowned Maisons d'art also contributed to its creation, including Atelier Montex, Lemarié and Lesage, which created highly crafted decorations and details.

Entirely hand-embroidered, the dress took years to complete, with 480,000 beads and jewels sewn in 1,155 hours of work. The two-meter-long train of the dress carries 25,000 delicate feathers.

Lipa paired it with a handmade veil with beads and feathers, completing the bride's look with white satin Massaro heels.

For the civil wedding, she chose a white Schiaparelli suit, inspired by Bianca Jagger's wedding look.

Chanel wished Dua Lipa happiness on her wedding, emphasizing that it was an honor for the fashion house to dress the artist on such an important day.

"Dua Lipa's Haute Couture wedding dress was hand-crafted in the ateliers of 31 Rue Cambon. Chanel sends its best wishes to Dua Lipa on her wedding. It is an honor for us to wear it on such a special day ," the brand said in a statement.

This is also the first Chanel Haute Couture wedding dress designed by Matthieu Blazy for a friend of the fashion house, making the creation even more special in the brand's history. /CNA
