A 57-year-old citizen has been arrested in the village of Lumth, Lushnja, after he started a fire to burn waste on his property, but the flames spread to his neighbor's land, causing material damage.

Yesterday, this citizen is suspected of having started a fire on his land, in the village of Lumth, to burn waste, but the flames spread to the land of his neighbor, citizen AA, where as a result an agricultural vehicle (Zetor), a trailer and livestock feed were burned.

Citizen AA, while trying to put out the flames on his property, suffered burns. He is receiving treatment at the Lushnja Hospital and is out of danger.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Fier, for the criminal offense of "Destruction of property by fire." /CNA
