Movie-like scene/ 61-year-old man almost flies out of plane window, wife saves him

A plane flying from Thessaloniki to Munich on Friday, July 10, was forced to return to Macedonia Airport due to a serious engine defect.

The separation of engine parts caused a window to break and the cabin to depressurize, causing a 61-year-old passenger to be partially ejected from the plane.

The passenger's wife and other passengers managed to keep him under control and get him back inside the cabin, preventing the worst.

Four people were taken to the hospital, including the 61-year-old man who is being treated for burns, while the rest are out of danger.

The remaining passengers on the flight continued their journey to their destination on another aircraft that was made available to them./ CNA
