"Revanshi" case faction, GJKKO sentences 5 members of the criminal

The Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime has found guilty five people involved in one of the factions of the file known as "Revanshi", an investigation conducted by the Special Prosecution Office.

According to the decision, former RENEA officer Adrian Pikli and Devis Bajramaj were sentenced to 10 years in prison each, but due to the shortened trial they will serve 6 years and 8 months in prison.

The same procedure also reduced the sentences for Elvis Ndreca and Edison Muçeku, who were initially sentenced to 8 years in prison each, while the final sentence for each is 5 years and 4 months. Meanwhile, Armando Ndreca was sentenced to 11 years in prison, reduced to 7 years and 4 months.

According to the indictment filed by SPAK, the convicts were part of a criminal group involved in illegal activity that included the cultivation and trafficking of narcotics, the trade in illegal weapons, and the provision of means and conditions for carrying out assassinations.

Investigative materials link members of this group to several criminal episodes that occurred during 2020-2021, including attempted murder in the Tapiza Bridge area, preparation of assassinations against several people, and the organization of the production and sale of a quantity of 243 kilograms of cannabis in Lezha.

This decision constitutes only part of the "Revanshi" file, while SPAK continues investigations into the other persons and episodes included in this criminal proceeding./ CNA
