Serious accident in Mirdita/ 6 minors injured after collision with pole

A serious incident shook the Fani area of ??Mirdita on Friday evening, where a road accident left six minors, all cousins, injured.

The cause of the accident is suspected to have been the wrong maneuvering of the driver of the vehicle, a 16-year-old who had taken the vehicle without a driving license. During the attempt to "drift", he lost control and the vehicle crashed violently into a lighting pole.

As a result of the impact, all six minors in the car suffered injuries. The most serious is reported to be a 12-year-old girl, who is suspected of having suffered a fractured pelvis, while two others have fractures in their limbs. The rest of the group has received various bodily injuries. Fortunately, all the injured are out of danger for life.

To help the injured, several ambulances were deployed, which transported the minors to Tirana hospitals for more specialized medical care.

The investigation team has arrived at the scene to carry out procedural actions, while the relevant legal proceedings have been initiated against the 16-year-old. /CNA
