"We do not run away from responsibilities"/ Debate Krasniqi-Gonzhja: It is not shameful to resign

A debate included political scientist Afrim Krasniqi and the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sports, Blendi Gonxhja.

Invited to A2 CNN, Krasniqi and Gonxhja clashed regarding Prime Minister Edi Rama's 13-year rule and the possibility of his resignation, which has been expressed as a request throughout the 30 days of protests.

Excerpts from the debate:

Gonxha: We don't run away from our responsibilities.

Kransic: So you can resign. This is good news. Can the government resign?

Gonxha: I have shown that I am familiar with the institution of resignation.

Krasniqi: Tell the Prime Minister too.

Gonxha: I don't have to tell him if it's not justified.

Krasniqi: Tell them that it's not shameful to resign.

Gonxha: It would be a great loss for the country. Those who have nothing to lose and Albania's loss is a big deal.
