Prime Minister Edi Rama returned today to the situation with the Benja Thermal Baths.
Through a post on social media, Rama shared images before and during the works being carried out in the area, while emphasizing that there is no interference with the ancient walls of this tourist destination.
Full reaction:
THIS IS WHAT THE ANCIENT WALLS OF BEJNA WERE LIKE
Ten years ago, with the possibilities that were available, the first systematization of the Benja Thermal Springs was carried out, when, as you can see, the concrete wall was restored - the previous one had deteriorated badly - and was covered with stones.
So not only have the ancient walls not been removed from the Benja baths, but the same craftsman you see at the helm of the work 10 years ago has kindly stood by the work, along with several stone masons, for the new project that has reborn this tourist destination with a whole new quality.
I have been stuck on this specific case several times yesterday and today, because the hysterical storm of the bathtubs of Benja clearly shows why the crust of political and social debris on the surface of the clean water of protest is a mass gathered together by the instinct of revenge against the Albania that has left them behind; failures with a name or anonymous ones who want a name, whose vision is hatred, whose ideas are lies and whose projects are themselves.
***on this occasion, some more photos of ancient Benja before we turn it into an exemplary destination . /CNA
