Prime Minister Edi Rama, in today's episode of the "Flasim" podcast, spoke about the book "The Albanian Files".

Rama has stated that the book was targeted by protesters to raise other accusations against him. He said that this publication is not controlled by him and is not his work.

The head of government added that his only contribution to that book is the preface. Among other things, regarding the letter from architect Reneir de Graaf, Rama states that it is part of his personal file.

He noted that this author is known for his ironic, paradoxical, hyperbolic writing style, but according to Rama, he does not make linear political statements.

"I do not want to talk about the book but about an inquisition that has begun regarding the book and that stems from the spirit of the boulevard where the protest started for nature has created many other branches. One of the branches is the branch that "persecutes" with words, accusations, and slander one of the most important groups that has happened to and that have approached Albania in these 30 years. People who have made their name on the world architecture scene. They have gathered in Albania, making contributions that will make the girls and boys of this country bring out from their bosom tomorrow one or more Albanian names that will shine on the world stage.

"The Albanian Files" has been targeted by the revolutionary inquisition of protest. While it is not my book and a publication controlled by me. I have only contributed with a foreword text that I am certainly proud to have been invited to write. Together with this entire army of professionals and architects.
It has come as a completely independent editorial project. There are controversial and debatable things, but to publish such a publication and then to be caught with a text that is self-ironic by an architect who represents one of the greatest studios in the history of architecture, this is the peak.

This text, placed there in an auto-ironic manner, is a letter addressed to me. The book is completely free, uncontrolled, all participants had complete independence in their files. The letter is part of the author's personal file. The "files" themselves are an ironic reference to an Albania that comes from a time of files. If it were a politically controlled publication, this text would not remain there. Reneir de Graf's letter tells us that first the author must be recognized. He has a universally recognized ironic, paradoxical, hyperbolic style, but he does not make linear political statements. He writes in the same way about other countries.
