"We don't need the Territorial Reform diagrams"/ Boçi:

The Co-Chair of the Territorial Reform Commission, Luciano Boçi, said today that the civic protest taking place in the country is the best way to express dissatisfaction at the political level.

At the hearing held in Korça, Boçi stated that there are many reasons that bring people to the streets, from exclusion in decision-making to depopulation.

According to Boçi, this civic act is much more effective than the diagrams of this reform.

"Now it is not enough to listen to the voices of the majority policies. There is no need for reform diagrams either. It is enough to go down there to the square and ask why the citizens are protesting. Clearly because the decision-making of the government is far from them, surrounded by barbed wire and the citizenry is excluded. Those people there have come out to protest because the villages, cities and Albania are emptying. In the span of 10 years, Korça has lost 47 thousand inhabitants, or 1/5 of it. People are protesting there because they are not represented at any political level, they want their voice to be heard, about the problems and concerns they have," said Boçi ./ CNA
