Minister Nufi meets counterpart Dendias/ Focus on issues of defense and regional stability

Albanian Minister of Defense, Ermal Nufi, met today with his Greek counterpart, Nikos Dendias, during an official visit to Greece.

According to Greek media, following the private meeting of the two ministers, extensive talks took place between the delegations.

The two ministers confirmed the shared will to further strengthen bilateral defense relations and explored new opportunities for cooperation in the field of cybersecurity.

Dendias informed Nufi about the progress of the reform of the Greek Armed Forces within the framework of the "Agenda 2030", presenting the main axes of modernization.

At the same time, the meeting raised regional and international issues of Defense and Security, with an emphasis on stability and cooperation in the wider region./CNA
