"Massive civic movement to overthrow the regime"/ Zhulali: Rama must

Political expert, Ilda Zhulali, commented today on the reactions that have been produced by citizen protests against the government for 30 consecutive days.

Speaking about this development on "Syri TV", Zhulali described it as one of the biggest movements in the region, alongside Serbia.

According to her, Albanians have many reasons to protest, as she mentioned the situation with hospitals, schools, and immigration.

Zhulali shared the belief that all citizens' concerns will be resolved only with the removal of Prime Minister Edi Rama from office.

"We have two large mass citizen movements to overthrow the last two regimes left in the region. There are two regimes that resemble each other in terms of state capture, both in Albania and in Serbia. Someone who comes out there protests about the injustices that have been done to property, someone protests about what happened in Nartë because that's how it started, or about the way some people were dragged there. Someone else comes out about the scandalous situation that Albanian hospitals have today, someone comes out about schools, about the inability for their children to have a better life, about problems with food, and everything else, and that ultimately culminates in that great wound that has led to the massive departure of Albanians. But all of these, all of these concerns have come together in that square today, they are expressed in different ways, but they have a common denominator and this denominator is that Edi Rama must leave at all costs", - said Zhulali. /CNA
